Bidrage med feedbackThis place has a wonderful atmosphere with very friendly staff. The food is amazing. I recommend the maple onion Bacon Marmelade Crostini. The price was a little rich for my blood, but after eating it was worth 100%.
It was a great experience. The food was a piece of heaven. I never knew that food could be so good. My server was also top notch. She was worth the whole experience. I will definitely be back for more. I'll also... this great restaurant for family and friends. Thank you. Anthony is for a wonderful night.
The meal was great. The serving staff was excellent and the owner Deborah is amazing and very welcoming. Great experience...we go back next time we are in Pembroke
Wonderful small Italian restaurant in the charming city centre. Friendly service from large staff and amazing food. Very recommended!
I oversaw finding a supper reservation for a group of 14 adults while we were in the Pembroke area over the weekend. I had never been to Pembroke before, so I relied completely on the online reviews. I made the reservation 2 weeks before our...Province rolled into Stage 3, so I was told our group would be split up into 3-4 tables on the patio. I was totally fine with that… it was hard to find a restaurant patio that would take a group reservation. This restaurant had great reviews, so I was confident I had made a good decision. We love good food… that is all we wanted. We arrived at the restaurant on time (7:30 pm) and noticed right away there was nothing set up on the patio for us. I was told there was a large table inside where we would all sit together. (Anthony’s made this decision as Stage 3 started the day before). Our group really did want to be outside considering it was such a beautiful evening, however we agreed to sit inside. Our drink orders were taken. We waited at least half an hour before our drinks were delivered. Our appetizer order was taken next, along with our supper order. We waited forever for our appetizers. They were not great. One couple ordered the mussels, and were sad to see a few were not good to eat. Caesar salad was so plain. Meanwhile, the server kept coming out and asked if we wanted more drinks. Some did order, but when some asked for another bottle of wine, they were told the restaurant was out ??? It was 9:00 pm and we still had not received our meal. Some friends were getting boozy. We were all getting upset. I walked to the kitchen and asked the other servers what was taking so long. I was told our meals would be out shortly. Another 10-15 minutes went by. Finally, the plates started coming out slowly. As my friends started eating I could hear they were upset…. noodles not done, rice was not cooked long enough… I thought my head was going to pop off. I immediately went to the bar and asked to speak with the manager. She came out, introduced herself, and told me she had no idea what was happening and why we had to wait so long for our food. Why did the manager not know what was going on??? She began to tell me they did not have enough chicken, so the cooking staff was defrosting meat… not something I wanted to hear. I asked her to come out to speak to our table, because I didn’t feel it was up to me any longer to let my friends know about the situation. I felt we all deserved an explanation from her, and we should be compensated in some form. She came to our table, and instead of professionally telling us what she could do for us, she began to cry and told us she would not be charging us for anything. We were all uncomfortable. We did not think it was proper for 14 people not to have to pay anything, especially during COVID. It was not our server’s fault. We reluctantly said we would pay our bill (because all that we wanted to do was leave). There would have been a much better way for the manager to handle our situation Saturday night. She gave an extremely poor impression of the restaurant, and for that reason, I would suggest you really consider making a reservation at Anthony’s. We paid too much money for mediocre food and poor service.
