China Gourmet - Paso Robles

DELICIOUS! Coming from south county with zero legit Chinese places, I was a little skeptical. But my friend recommended this restaurant and I'm so happy she did! The food came out quick and was so GOOD! Good enough for us to order entrees to go as well! Will be back!!

The best-tasting Chinese food ever. Jack Chan is good host. The food selection is good. You won't regret going to this place

The food was delicious and the dining experience was pleasant. Staff was very attentive. Restaurant was clean. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because they didn't give us the right change when we payed our bill. When I called them over I didn't even have to say anything she knew and brought me the change. So I'm pretty sure it wasn't a mistake but a practice. Be warned.

Got takeout will not be returning. Food was so bad I threw it in the trash. Waste of fifty dollars.

Visiting from out of town for a wedding. Arrived the night before so we decided to grab dinner. As you walk in theres a big fish tank with lots of fish. Plenty of seating for this whole in the wall restaurant. They sat us down and took our drink orders. We went with the family dinner special. You get fried rice, soup, appetizer, and 2 entrees. Not bad for $27 a person. I have to say the fried rice was really good. For the appetizer, it came with 2 veggie egg rolls, 2 fried shrimp, and 2 wontons. All 3 were good. The soup I was not thrilled about. I think I was thrown off by the color and the taste. It was egg flower soup. I'm use to maybe a broth with egg in it, but this was a bright yellow and tasted like egg whites. (Thick like egg whites), Wish I would have taken a picture. I just couldn't eat it. For our entrees we had the mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. Both had a really good taste, just wish the chicken was spicy. We also ordered a side of chow mein, and that too had a really good flavor.
