Bidrage med feedbackLa campiña is a large extension of lemon trees with restaurant, greenhouse, rosenfeld and sweetness factory, made with own fruits. the owners are two famous radio and TV journalists (monica mihanoch and cesar masseti,) who decided to make a change of life leave. their jobs and live in buenps aires city and move to san pedro. we have been up there all day to arrive 11 o'clock. lunch time at 2:30 am and counted round. until it is closed at 18 o'clock. they have guided tours, but we were delayed for both, so we visited the place of ourselves. for lunch they have to make a reservation. it has a fixed price and they can choose between 3 or 4 options, we went for the bbq and it was good.
The place is unbelievable, peaceful, quiet, beautiful. the people (monica y cesar) are amazing, super friendly. eating was great, just a few options (bbq, fresh house made pasta, empanadas and a desert). not cheap for the sizes, but delicious.
If I were tourist, I would be disappointed by this place. the waiters were slow, and eating that typical of argentina (asado, grill meat) is so badly prepared. the meat as it is necessary is brought in a small grill for the table, but. the meat is cooked and has little taste. there are much better options for a dia de campo.
