Bidrage med feedbackSimple is most often better. With their humble advertising, it's almost like you have to be cool to be in the know. This local chain provides a sweet escape back to the olden days. I felt like I was in an episode of Happy Days. The team was phenom and patient with us as first time customers. But we were told we couldn't leave Kansas without devouring one of these delicious fried pies. We were thankful to get in quickly without much of a wait. The product was fantastic! It didn't feel like a frozen premade and reheated pie. Grease level was certainly doable and didn't overwhelm the experience. The offerings of flavors was also fantastic and presented some less traditional options. Would it be wrong to say this is a top reason we would revisit Kansas?? XD
We showed up at 6:55pm, excited to try this out! We walked in, the lights were on, and the door unlocked. The sign on the door read, closed at 7 The woman standing at the register said, without a greeting, We 're closed No sorry, no explanation, and her tone was rude. The entire place was already cleaned up. If you say you are open until 7, stay open until 7. The treatment of the staff was poor and I won 't reattempt. This happened on 2/14/20.
If you have not tried this place you are missing out. 1 st time ever and we will be back a lot. Wow is the word I have. Neat place and wow fried pies. Get in and try something new and local.
This was AWESOME!!!! I have heard about these pies for a few years now and seeing this location featured on PBS made me want it more. the pie I had (blackberry) was fantastic. I had to wait for it to be made, but that was okay and the staff was very friendly and apologetic about it. If you want good pie, head here!
Super disappointed you close at 7 on a Friday. We along with other families were turned away at 7:45.
