Bidrage med feedbackHi, Had found this restaurant as I was recommended by a friend and liked the beef steak which was served on 17thjune 2016 , and hence decided to go there with another friend the following day for dinner on 18th June 2016 which was a huge regrettable mistake . Had dinner there on 18th June 2016 and ordered the cheese as the starter and the pork for my friend and the beef steak for myself as the main course. As I eagerly awaited the steak and it was served ,I really could not cut into mine at all . I managed to have one bite and then asked the male server who claimed all authority for the restaurant said he had to change my knife :-( gave another knife and in the presence of him I could not cut into it . So called the chef who said the cut of meat from yesterday to today was different and sorry about it and even in his presence I could not cut it and I did not know what to do further. I did not have nothing more than a bite as it was not possible and they took it away. I asked for the bill and it arrived with 28 euros billed for the beef steak . I have no problem to pay if I had some food or if they did something about it. I asked the male server and the chef about it and was given the answer once served the bill has to be paid despite anything. I did not go there for a free meal but basics of hospitality and service is questionable with this kind of French restaurants with this money minded and not service minded attitude. A very nice dinner with business partners: good-looking place, good wine, awesome steaks & food in general... A bit pricey but not outrageous either. The service level is a bit below the food (have to ask for water, bread, wine...) but overall I definitely recommend the place, if you want to taste a real BBQ tasting steak inside Paris!
Everyone in family of four really enjoyed their meals. We had mostly steaks, one fish dish. Staff all spoke English and happily translated the menu.We ate there on a Friday night and the place was almost empty even though it probably had room for another 30-40 people.Other restaurants nearby look packed so my guess is they are priced too high. The prices seemed slightly higher than some other steak places in Paris, but not outrageously so.The service was really great, but that could also be because of the low number of guests.Turn-offs: (left rating at 4 anyway since these are external)1. The trash pile and trash cans right outside their place. The overflowing cans had to be within five feet of the leftmost sidewalk table. Not very appetizing. We were inside but could still see the pile of garbage.2. The neighborhood had some sketchy streets nearby. We walked there and chose a more careful route on the way back to the hotel which was better. Stick to the busier roads even though if a longer walk.
Came along...showed the guy that am staying in the opposite hotel for 4 days and he still managed to lose a customer !....
We dined here because it was very close to our hotel, and I am really pleased we did because the food was delicious. The menu is very concise, but I think there is enough choice there to cater for most tastes. I had the Argentian Steak, it was really good (although some green vegetables would have been more welcome than bone marrow), my colleague had the bavette, and said that was delicious,. The wine list is very extensive with a huge amount of choice, and the service was amiable and friendly. I would recommend dining at this restaurant, especially if you like the bœuf.
