Venkat's Mantraa Kitchen - Panvel

I visited this restaurant about four years ago when it first opened, and it was the only one in the complex. However, with the arrival of Maharashtra Lunch Home, business has significantly declined and they are now facing challenges. In an attempt to compete, they have rebranded themselves as Venkat Lunch Home, but they continue to struggle. The food is mediocre at best, and there is no alcohol service as their liquor license has not been renewed.

They have recently restructured themselves from Venkat Mantra Resto Bar to Mantra Lunch home. The reason behind this restructuring is that there business come down due to nearby ne restaurant Maharastra Lunch Home. I am regularly visiting Maharastra Lunch Home and like there food. But this time tried this Mantra Lunch home. Hence, it is obvious that both the restaurants will be compared. Below are the comparison points: Cons: 1. They are copy of Maharashtra Lunch Home. They have stolen concept of Maharashtrian Thalis from Maharastra Lunch Home. Though the varieties in the food are limited. 2. Ambiance is average. 3. Food taste is average. 4. Service is slow as their kitchen is on ground floor and seating is on first floor. 5. Smaller than Maharastra Lunch Home. 6. Maharastra Lunch Home has appointed 2-3 people to arrange vehicle parking. Though Mantra also kept one person but he is in-effective. Pros: 1. They ate providing 2 bhakaries in single thali compared to 1 bhakari in Maharastra Lunch Home. 2. They are providing finger bowl which is missing in Maharastra Lunch Home.

Had gone a week back on my birthday. The ambience is good and staff is polite. Starters were good but the downside was main course which was served cold and did not have the flavour worth its expensive price. Even the quantity was quite less compared to the price. They need to improve with their quantity and taste for main course.

This is a lovely place with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is polite and attentive, providing excellent service. The food is delicious and of high quality. A must-visit spot for sure!

The service at this restaurant is incredibly slow, even though it was not busy. It took 40 minutes just to receive our starter dish. The interior is nice, but the food is just okay. There are much better dining options nearby.
