Bidrage med feedbackIkka was on my wishlist, and upon the invitation and suggestion from my friend Pawan Parte, I ended up there on Saturday, June 15th for a weekend dinner with my childhood friend. The bar section of Pallavi Avida near Kalamboli was where we gathered. Roshan, who served us attentively until the end, deserves a special mention for his excellent service. The rain provided much-needed relief from the summer heat in Mumbai, and we decided to enjoy our regular brand Dazzlers Pride and thanked the beer brands for keeping us company during the hot summer days. The ambiance at Ikka is commendable, with creative displays and paintings setting the mood for the evening. The Laurel and Hardy duo and the famous pose of Charlie Chaplin with a girl child added to the charm of Ikka. The egg burji, fish tikka, and dal khichdi dishes were delicious, earning a round of applause for the chef and his team. In other words, our taste buds were satisfied. Thank you, Pawan Parte, for a wonderful dining experience at a comfortable place with good service, food, and a decent discount! What more could you ask for on the weekend? An affordable Ola taxi ensured we made it home safely without the need for a designated driver!
My place is the best buffet in the city and an array for spending from Chinese to mughlai to Indian curries and broth and sweets and simply refreshing aromes and absolutely fabulous staff and service .
I recently visited this restaurant to watch an IPL game between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals with my friends on a Sunday. The ambience and interior of the place were excellent, with live screening of IPL games and bar counters available. Unfortunately, I was unable to take pictures due to the dark ambiance and being engrossed in the game. I tried three different starters, all of which were delicious - the Veg Hungama Kebab, Cheese Bissen, and Käse Cyclones. I would give them a rating of 4.5/5 for taste and presentation. Overall, it was a great experience visiting this place, with a rating of 4.5/5 for service, 4.5/5 for food, and 4.5/5 for ambiance.
I also dined at Ikka for other meals, where they offered buffets, as well as an a la carte menu, which seemed to be popular among the locals. For lunch, I started with a refreshing Blue Lagoon mocktail followed by flavorful Ronak-e Seah kebab and Murg malai kebab. The kebabs were perfectly balanced and delicious, although the traditional aroma was slightly missing. Other highlights included Murg kebab and Aloo nazakat. Their lunch spread included a variety of options like salads, pickles, soups, daal, paneer khurchan, noodles, dim sums, biryani, and more. Overall, their dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, making my stay at Pallavi Avida enjoyable and satisfying.
