Zola Barzola - Palo Alto

Our server was fantastic and muddles were some of the best I had in years. really fresh. many thanks for a great experience! fun that they mocktails to even tho I would have liked to add gin :

There were 6 of us and we sat outside. Automatic tip for 6 people was 20% and that would have been fine if service was good but it was mediocre. Main dishes got served at different times, one guest did not get his meal until at least 15 minutes after others. Servers did not check on table as needed and were not outside often. We needed to ask for water to be filled several times. Steaks were fatty and somewhat grizzly. I will not go back to this restaurant.

Great service and ambiance. Live music great but too loud. Food was very disappointing. First few times I came back 5 years ago it was fabulous. Portions were SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER and Less rich and tasty and not at all worth the price. We Had the halibut, schnitzel , and gnocchi The panna cotta was good. Pumpkin soup was good. Had the halibut and gnocchi years ago and it was to die for. So disappointed this time. Won’t look forward to coming back again.

I love this place. eating was amazing. I'll try to start again. the muddles were good from this world.

Delicious food- great for a small group- alive and happening! had a fantastic margarita and the others enjoyed the barry martini! we all enjoyed
