Kanpai - Palo Alto

Not our first visit and won't be our last. Consistently good food and service. Sashimi assortment by the chef was excellent. Appetizers, small plates and everything else we had was up to their quality standards. One of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere after hectic Palo Alto. The service was excellent.

Good fresh fish, reasonable prices. They were pretty slow on a Sunday and we got good service. The Toro tartare was very unique, came with a bunch of toppings to mix in. Sounded like an odd thing to do to a great cut of fish, but it was really good.

Amazing food! came on a wednesday evening and it seemed like a popular time yet our food got served so quickly! We got the gyoza, salmon and avocado rolls, chicken teriyaki, and tempura. Would definitely come back!

Nice sushi place! Reasonable prices, good range of options, quick service, nice chill music. Not too fancy in appearance, but still a good option, no complaints.
