Jelly Cafe Mount Prospect - Palatine

Always amazing place to be. This is our family favorite. I love this place. The breakfast options are good. Its just walking distance from my house. The food is decent. Coffee is good and i love their jelly that they serve you. And yes service ispretty quick. This time when i went the cafe was decorated with fall decor.

Had the chicken fried steak meal. Came with 2 eggs they're potatoes and a biscuit. All in all pretty tasty. The chicken fried steak was done nicely a little small on the portion. Gravy was nice. I don't think homemade though. The potatoes wereoutstanding.They were cooked perfectly and still had body and texture. The biscuit was really soft and moist. Came with warmhoney and strawberry preserves warmed . I asked for a side of extra gravy and they didn't charge me very surprised and happywith that. Server was nice and came to check up on me ,as well as did the Busboy.

Ever since we have moved to Palatine I love going to this place. It has a very comfortable and cozy environment and very family friendly. One time I even forgot my credit card after paying them but when I?ve been back there they had saved my credit cardand gave it to me I?m upon checking my ID. The food is always good my all time favorite is vegetable skillet. The staff is veryfriendly and always smiling and we always order waffles or pancakes.

We?ve dined here four times since moving to Palatine, and the food service has been great! We got the chilaquiles and the Buffalo chicken wrap this last visit, and free coffee refills!

Showed the waiter a pic of what I wanted from the reviews which was no longer on their menu. The manager came over described to me what was in the pic told me it was on the menu pre-COVID, but that they could absolutely make it for me????????????????.It was absolutely delicious!!!???? I will definitely be back!!???????????? Oh I had to get a second order of the potatoes bcthey were sooo good????
