Bidrage med feedbackIn a side street of Paderborn, the Spanish restaurant EL Toro is located in a quiet location. After the entrance we were greeted politely and brought to our table. The windows are decorated with fishing nets and on a wall hangs the typical representation of a bullfight, this time tied into a carpet. We worked the rich menu that offers something for everyone: from typical rabbit recipes about lamb, pig, beef, vegetarian dishes and also fish and seafood. We were told about the fresh fish that stood in a mobile cooling counter in front of the actual counter. We inquired about the recommendation and the daily price and decided to grill for the real Bonito, with rice and mangold for 19 € per person. As an appetizer we chose the baked cheese with bread. He was served after greeting from the kitchen, consisting of homemade aioli with warm baguette. The Bonito was fileted, seasoned with herbs and grilled. It was surrounded with the supplements on a plate serving a pleasure for the eye and the palate. Let's see what happens next time, because we'll be back in any case.
Preordered Sylvester. Buffalo. This was looted early. Refilling was very slow. The quality of the food is pathetic. Tough, fat meat. Not even the paella was too enjoyable. Never eat so badly. The price for it is undamaged. Never again.
Hello, my wife Spaniard) were just eating here, what these people call food is a shame for Spain....refined Alioli with gelantine),the whole food was a catrastophe!!! have now fled to Granada Mühlenstr.24),all top Spanish ....
The coupon book led us here. Choice of dishes was difficult. Many delicious things. Wide range of fish dishes and supplements. But had already informed me about the menu on the Internet, so that it went quite fast. We were told that we could also take part in the evening buffet for 5 €, but we refused. The ordered Pommes Frites were then unfortunately roast potatoes, my friend's shrimp spears were delicious, but somewhat sweet and visually little on the plate. My fish pot was tastefully excellent, but the additionally ordered carrots with mojo sauce were not as I knew it from the Lanzarote holiday with salt crust, but simply pelicopards with not one especially remembering mojo sauce. There was also not the green mojo sauce, only the red (sharp) could be ordered. That we wanted to pay, my friend had to make an announcement at the front of the counter, as we simply did not pay attention at the back of the corner several times. Too bad if such a negative impression ends the evening.
We were spontaneously hungry for Spanish food. So we searched on the Internet for a Spanish restaurant nearby and sat on the El Toro. There is nothing I need to say about the situation, as this has been written several times. The well-filled guest room fell on our way in. Good thing we had reserved by phone. The service kindly gave us a table. We were made aware of the buffet and decided that the 2 people took the buffet and my wife was allowed to pick something out of the map. She took Filete empanado Panierte Schnitzel with roast potatoes and salad ... 9.50 € The buffet was very well visited, unfortunately the apparently working chef did not succeed in putting it in time. Some foods had not been restocked even after our visit of about 1 1/2 hours. The service was apparently a little overwhelmed this evening: neither after that she came to clean the tables properly so that the plates were stacked, nor was it asked for an empty glass to drink. In my opinion, there were enough services available to manage and maintain the business rationally. Only and alone in the kitchen was the cook overwhelmed. The food chosen by the map lasted about 40 minutes until it came to the table. The preparation and presentation was appealing. The meat was fried at the point! We decided to visit this restaurant again after some time. Maybe we caught one of the chaot days.
