Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Overland Park

I LOVE the food from this place, however, almost every time I've ordered I've either had an incorrect item or an item missing completely. Definitely a spot I'll only be going in to eat from from now on (my latest order was missing two items). But, great otherwise.

The smoothies my coworkers and I ordered were not blended at all. There are huge chunks of fruit and ice that are too big for the straws. The peanut butter cup smoothie didn’t have any peanut butter in it, it tasted like watered down chocolate powder with banana chunks. I order from the location on 151st and blackbob all the time and have never had this problem there.

HUGE SHOUT OUT to the girl whose ALWAYS working the drive thru. She is the hero we need!!! Shes always there, always polite even when shes super busy and shes killing it! Maybe shes the manager? Not sure. She deserves a raise!

Would not recommend. Overpriced and horribly slow service.

To start, this location is always really slow. When I pulled up to the window it took about 5 minutes until they came to the window so I could pay. Then had to wait probably another 10 minutes to get my order. The food and smoothies have also been really bad the past few times I’ve been.
