Lion's Choice - Overland Park

The people working there were cool, but the sandwich is so weird and vile. The meat is rare, cold and makes the top bun ****. The bun was soggy with blood, it was unreal. I took a bite and almost lost my stomach, then my wife started to dry heave from watching me. It was a real situation and I'll never forget the time we went to Lions Choice.

The meat was pulverized not sliced or shaved to the consistency point of oatmeal, at least a fourth water, served luke warm, and lacking any trace of seasoning. The unseasoned bun was barely heated, saturated in watered down margarine and not toasted. Upon taking a bite, the slurry ran out all over. The fries were the only thing decent, yet undercooked. The diet coke was so iced down, that it lacked effervescence and flavor. This is truthfully the worst fast food value of my lifetime.

Best rare roast beef Sammie's anywhere! Horseradish sauce is nice and pungent! They also offer bbq sauce. Fries are great. They have a wide variety of sandwiches, sides and their famous concrete custard!

My meal of a turkey sandwich and fries was delicious! The restaurant was very clean, the restroom was spotless, and the general manager, Wendy, is most helpful and runs a happy, well-managed enterprise!Kid-friendliness: It was nice to see that families with very young children were welcome at Lion's Choice!
