Room on the ground floor towards the parking lot. Front desk very helpful. Less helpful at the breakfast buffet. Buffet is partially cleared away before the end of the announced time. Quality of the food offer inferior. Also applies to dinner. The location is quiet, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Food drinks: Inferior Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 3

The hotel looks nice, but some things have to be done to guarantee the price-quality ratio. On arrival we had to pay immediately in advance, no credit card reservation but direct payment. We thought okay a bit strange, but it must have been necessary. Then to the room, a nice big comfort room with balcony. So far exactly what we had thought. Pressing the light switch of the bathroom I thought yuck, that sticks so just cleaned it with a tissue. It later turned out that all the light switches were sticking, there is a job for the cleaning team, making a paste of baking soda and wiping the buttons with it, then wiping it with alcohol. One of the large towels had the frays hanging from it and the other towel had dirty edges and when unfolded there was a very large stain in that towel. The water in the shower varied from much too hot to cold, which is no longer necessary with a good installation, isn't it? When opening the (too soft) bed, with a damaged headboard by the way, the fitted sheets were lying on them as if someone had already slept in them, they were clean, but housekeeping had probably never heard of pulling the bottom sheets tight. The covered bicycle shed was uncovered, according to the receptionist, there had not been time for that yet. The breakfast was sufficient although there was not really an extensive choice, there were no clear walking routes at the buffet and the few staff did not pay attention to this either. The female manager? showed up a few times, said good morning to some of the guests, then disappeared again, probably convinced that everything was going smoothly. As mentioned, the service and cleaning staff were extremely friendly which is a miracle with so few colleagues to cope with the crowds.

Wij betaalden €315 ! voor 1 nacht. De kamer was stoffig, de kastdeur bleef openstaan, het bad liep niet leeg, de zeepdispenser in de douche was leeg en de kamer was zeer gehorig. Na onze klacht kwam er een excuus, maar geen enkel financieel gebaar. Vreemde opvatting van gastvrijheid. Voor ons geen Fletcher meer. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 5

We zijn hier nu al twee keer geweest. De eerste keer in december kregen we een kamer met een tussendeur. Helaas waren de buren ziek en hoorden we de hele tijd braakgeluiden. De tweede keer hebben we dit gemeld en kregen we een rustigere kamer. Maar deze kamer was zo gehorig dat we letterlijk alles van de buren hoorden. En dan bedoel ik ook alles. Bovendien lag de kamer boven de bar en de afvalcontainer van het restaurant. Kortom, dit was ons laatste bezoek aan Fletcher Ouddorp. Reactie bij de receptie: vervelend, ja.
