Chesterfield's Gastro Diner - Ottawa

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. There is a wait when you get there but I think it’s worth it. The banhmi eggs Benny is the best benny I’ve ever had.

Super delicious pancakes and food overall the fried chicken is definitely on the healthier side so don’t expect it to be super crispy and breaded but definitely leaves you feeling less guilty. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a major plus! The place was bustling and very busy so not the best if you want to go have an intimate brunch but just the right place if you want amazing food and good service. Expect to wait on a weekend so go early enough to put your name and perhaps go grab a coffee while you wait. Great Ottawa brunch!

Service is very friendly and the food is just amazing. There is usually some waiting time. Today (Friday), we arrived at noon and waited about 20 minutes for a table of two. On the weekend, you could wait 45 minutes to an hour (or more), but it is totally worth it. There is parking on the streets nearby. Today, I had the Spice Girl Benny with sides of hot cauliflower poutine and blueberry pancake (see photo). It was so decadent and not too spicy. The perfect mix of sweet and savory. I am already looking forward to come back for more.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options with eggs and dairy, and at least one vegan option.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free toasts

Very well seasoned and the portion was just right. The sauce and maple syrup complimented the flavours of both the waffles and the chicken really well (add their hot sauce, on the table, if you want some kick). Waffles were fluffy with a crunch, I wish the chicken could be a little bit crispier though.

There's only 3 words to describe this place... WORTH.THE.WAIT!Since the moment you walk in, you're met with a welcoming, cool atmosphere extremely friendly staff. The food is beyond exceptional! Everything is fresh homemade with vibrant colours and fantastic plating. Chesterfield's is by far our families favourite brunch spot we've found to date.The only drawback, is that it's on the smaller side, so no matter what time you plan on going, be prepared to wait at least an hour (in our experience). But I kid you not, you will not regret the wait!10/10 would highly recommend!
