Linda's La Cantina - Orlando

This is the place for steak! Been wanting to try Linda's for years. Finally went and oooooohhhhh mannnnnn. I wish I would have made the effort to go a long long time ago. It was so awesome. The reservation process is different (you text a number and set it up) but it works. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly host and immediately sat. Our drink orders were taken and bread was served. Husband and I ordered appetizers; he ordered the fried crown onion and I ordered the French onion soup. Both were great. Entrees were a mini surf and turf (with the snapper) and a 12oz sirloin. Again, they were great and steaks were cooked on point. Ambiance was great; enough lighting and not too close to neighboring tables. 100% will be back!!

Highly recommend, all of their steak is outstanding. We came here for dinner and I did not take any food pictures because it was so good and by the time I remembered our food was eaten. We started off with a coconut shrimp appetizer, which was delicious, the unique plum sauce was great. I ordered the top sirloin it was beyond delicious. It came with a baked potato and a house salad. The house dressing is great. The potato was large and cooked perfectly. The steak was an 8oz steak and delicious. It was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Reservations are a must here as it is always packed. Service was fantastic.

Growing up in Orlando I always drove by this restaurant as a kid and even as an adult. I have never actually been in this restaurant until this one time. You always see a full parking lot and hear about this restaurant amongst many different foodie channels, and it's loved by the locals. I had to give it a try myself. I made a reservation the same day of as soon as they open at 4 PM. The reservation process was not too difficult because they had reservations the same evening. When I called, I heard a voicemail and they gave a phone number to text to confirm a reservation. . As my appetizer, I ordered the French onion soup because it just looks so good and it was. The creamy cheese to the rich onion flavor of the soup was exactly what I wanted and an appetizer. For my main course I ordered the T-bone especially after just coming back from Florence and having so much Florentine steak. I wanted to give it a try to see if I liked it better or did I like the steak in Florence better? Although I think the Florentine steak was better, this was still a very good steak. The service was very good and everything came out very fast and fresh. Our server was very attentive. This is a classic steakhouse and so if you're craving a nice steak, this is the place to go.

The food is just excellent. And your dinner includes the house salad and a choice of sides. The steaks are excellent quality and cooked to exact temp as ordered. The group ordered T-bone steaks, strip steak, the blackened snapper and a 20 oz chopped steak. Had dinner the night before at Charley's and our group agrees that Linda's has Charley's beat! It's very much worth the 30 minute ride from the convention center area. Don't miss Linda's. You must call for a reservation. It gets full and packed every night. (And for good reason). Very highly recommend.

We walked in without a reservation and only waited 30 minutes at one of Orlando's oldest restaurants. We could tell why it's been around for so long. Food was absolutely incredible. We started off with drinks at the bar while waiting for our table, and the ambience sets you back to the 50's. Once seated, the warm bread came out and wow. We asked for a second basket!!! So warm and fresh. Jamie, our server, made our experience as first timers unforgettable. She gave us a kitchen tour and we shook hands with head chef Steve who has been grilling the famous steaks here for over 45 years. The rest is history. You can look at my photos I wish you could taste my pictures ! We will be back! Highly recommend!!!!!! Food speaks for itself!! Great value at a high end restaurant best bang for your buck! Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Ambience 9/10 (they could have music) but the vibe is definitely authentic so maybe I'm just young ! Haha Pricing unbelievably doable. Normal entrees sat at around $25 each while the large Tbone was still under 69 which is insanely affordable at a high end steakhouse! Need to try!!!
