At The Diner Dr Phillips - Orlando

While the food and the service were great, our experience was dampened by the fact that Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise came on the speakers and someone made the audacious decision to turn it off!! The disrespect for the og made my jaw drop! So like don’t do that next time, they played Coolio at my middle school dances, I’m sure white folks can handle it while having some grits lolPS: Angie was great!

Great staff, our waiter was a ton of fun. He had a great time asking us where we were from (Toronto and then asking tons of questions about the city. He even bought some Canadian money off of us and then bounced around the restaurant showing it off to all his co-workers.I wanted to go for the Eggs Beneffle (sp? , eggs benedict on waffles. Pretty damn good. Wife got an omelette that was massive, kids got chocolate chip pancakes. I may have been the only one to finish. Big portions. Prices weren;t bad, certainly not cheap but too expensive. A little over $80 for the 4 of us.Already told family that we're in Orlando with to go eat there. Advise others to go as well. Small place, nice atmosphere, lovely people and good food. The food was way better than Keke. Not over priced great service I even have picture what i ate was so amazing. Kristie had a great service experience for my mom bday!!!

Food: AMAZING! The best part was that as a picky eater I was able to adjust what I wanted off the menu. I got the Benedict and couldn’t walk after. The orange juice is FRESHLY SQUEEZED!service: 15/10. Kristie is so sweet! She was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and the sweetest to my doggie. He was served his water first which really went a long way for this dog mom.Ambiance: I sat at the porch and it was great because it was nicely shaded.Overall it was amazing!

The food, staff, and service are always excellent! Our server, Yuber, is always kind and respectful, essentially to the joy of my life, my Mom. At 90, and with her health challenges, it is not always easy to get out, but we are always treated with love and kindness while enjoying a great breakfast! It is comfort to me how much she enjoys eating and her strong appetite. Having a great breakfast place makes it even more enjoyable. Thank you, Yuber, and all the staff at The Diner Dr. Phillips!
