Uncle Julio's - Orland Park

One of our favorite spots to celebrate a family member's birthday. Upon arrival, although I made a reservation, we were asked to wait until the table was available to see how the restaurant was very busy we were to understand and only ended a short time before sitting. After we had set ourselves, it took 15 minutes before we even got hit by an employee and that was supposed to drop chips and salsa. After another 10 minutes our waiter finally appeared to take our drinks orders. Quickly through a dinner that lasted three hours through slow service, we were very degrunt and disappointed by our experience.

The food was delicious! Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, but not necessarily proactive to ensure beverage refills or other needs. We would have ordered Dessert, but he didn't even ask! (Only with the check)

We made a reservation for Taco Tuesday and they were busier than they expected plus they were short staffed. Even with all that going on, they accommodated our party of 5 relatively quickly and the service was amazing as always! The food is fresh and tastes great.

We arrived at 8 pm weren’t seated until 8:30. The hostess stated she called us but the buzzer never went off. I went to the desk because the buzzer died. Even though we were seated promptly it took the server fifteen minutes to acknowledge that we were there. There were basic things we had to ask for like utensils, napkins etc. The food was good but it appeared that they were short staffed. Tables around us stayed dirty for significant length of time and even though our waiter was nice he seemed overwhelmed .
