Amaterra Winery - Oregon

Beautiful building. Need a membership to enter and have wine or food.

Everything was great, from the timing of our courses, to the flavor of every element of every dish. We came to Amaterra to celebrate the completion of my degree since it’s a bit more upscale than we’re used to, and it didn’t feel stuffy or overpriced in any way for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere that we experienced. We will definitely be back sometime, hopefully when it’s light and we can absorb the full view.

Excellent in every way, location, ambiance, wine, food and service. The bartenders are entertaining as well.

It’s a great place to hang out in nearby neighbourhood. Tasting experience and service are up to standard. However, when I walked around at L1, one if the staff try to push me out saying that it was occupied by private event, of which the event was in Barrel room for couple of hours without going out of patio. Looking for an in town Portland winery — check out Amaterra. Great environment, friendly staff, amazing views, and tasty wine. Get the tasting. The Pinot Gris is tremendous and the Eclater will remind you of France. Taste. Ask questions. Enjoy.
