Bidrage med feedbackGreat folks. Awesome little space with tons of great games. Such a fun date night for my wife and I. We will definitely be back.
The activity itself is fun. I could see people getting into it, and the projectors they installed provide a really cool way to interact with the sport. The target is projected on the wood you throw the axes, knives, and shuriken into, and you use a mouse to click where you stuck the target. It keeps track of your score, and there are a bunch of different games from which to choose. You throw one sharp object at a time to reduce the risk of injury to said object and yourself, so you do a lot of walking back and forth. You will get your steps in!As for the atmosphere, get ready to scream. Axes and knives bouncing off steel cages, music, people shouting just hear one another... it 's loud. It 's also pretty crowded. There were only three of us, but we kept bumping into each other around the table and barrel between us and the bar. The amount of furniture seemed a bit unnecessary, as throwing axes moves pretty fast you won 't be sitting down a lot unless you plan on sitting out. Maybe take out the long tables and put in a lounge area? The barrels were convenient for setting down drinks and knives.I was our designated driver, so I can 't speak much to the drinks (beer and wine only). Looked like they had a number of NA drinks from which to choose, which is really cool. Was really hoping they had food! We were pretty hungry by the end of our two hours. Maybe they can work something out with OC Taco next door, kind of like Sizzle Pie and The Hollywood Theater. What made my experience less than enjoyable was the confusion about the billing. I booked 2 hours online for 3 4 people . That cost me around $150, then they charged me an additional $27, saying it 's actually per person and saying yeah, we need to fix the website . We begrudgingly paid, but saw the prices on the wall as we walked out and realized I had paid the correct amount. Refund of the overcharge was re issued. Mistakes happen, but confusion and haggling over the cost of a buddy 's birthday night soured the experience. What really sealed my decision to never return was the $15 bar tab I ran up for one can of water and three tap waters (again, designated driver). The can of water was $4. I don 't recall there being a 375% gratuity button when I closed my tab. Maybe they charged me for the tap? Sort of adds to the frustration of not knowing what I am paying for, so I am unlikely to pay for anything there moving forward.I hope they can figure out the problems with their charges and website soon. Best of luck to them.Vegetarian options: No food.Dietary restrictions: No food. Beer and wine. Several NA options.Parking: We lucked out with parking, but I can imagine walking a block or two on a busy night. There are two pretty popular restaurant/bars nearby.Kid friendliness: I think this is an 18+ establishment. The ax throwing cages are build for standing adults, so I don 't think kids could meaningfully participate.Wheelchair accessibility: Inside is really accessible, but I don 't think there is a ramp to get in. Ax throwing itself might be a challenge for a wheelchair bound person, as the targets are hung at standing height.
Brought my son here on his 13th birthday and we had so much fun! It was super relaxed but also so spacious and clean. We were able to throw for an hour for less than I payed for 30 mins at another place previously. Definitely worth the drive from Portland!!!!Kid-friendliness: The staff was welcoming and patient in showing my son how to throw and not making him feel micromanaged. He enjoyed the knives and throwing stars so much too!
We didn't eat but the drink selection was the best in town.
I didn't eat or drink anything however the atmosphere was fantastic. Inviting, comfortable and fun.
