Billy & Ray's Boudin - Opelousas

The pepper jack boudin balls are amazing ! I live in Chicago Heights, IL and just got the privilege to enjoy this tasty dish. Completely unlike any of the local food to me here up north, and I say that in an extremely good way! I have a good friend that lives locally to this shop that I play online videos games with and believe it or not. He recommended this to me. So me and him took it upon ourselves to have an order made to ship up north for me to try them out haha. I love them. I wanted to give a shout out to the crew at this establishment for working with Bobby and myself as far as getting it packed up and shipped to me. The package was still ICE COLD after transit. Many thanks team. Outstanding execution for this rather usual take out order!

Smoked boudin will touch your soul. Best hands down! The ladies that took care of me were wonderful. Very satisfied Fatboy here.

While the food is good, it sickened me to order and the young lady who's standing at the hot case is tying her head rag. Then she makes and attempt to confirm my order and prepare it. I stopped her and asked to wash her hands. She prolonged and whispered to her coworker. This behavior is what gives people reason to never visit the establishment again. Disgusted!!!

Best Boudin I’ve ever eaten. I’m from Ville Platte where we once had great boudin , but I now drive a half hour every week When I get off to pick up a box of boudin and pound of cracklins. Simply put its well seasoned and consistent. Great job Billy’s
