Gestrand, Eten Aan Zee. - Oost-Vlieland

Wonderful restaurant right next to the Vlieland ferry. We sat at a table with a sea view which was very nice. The decoration of the restaurant is nicely done with real plants and flowers everywhere. The food is very tasty and we got fries and raw vegetables with it. I myself had the catch of the day (pieterman fillet as shown in the photo. The only complaint here was that the mango(? compote didn't add much to the dish. The first drink took quite a while but all in all it was a successful evening in a very nice spot on Vlieland. Vegetarian options: 4 different vegetarian main dishes. Also a good range of vegetarian starters. Kid-friendliness: There is a kind of play area for children

It is the first restaurant you see when you enter Vlieland. But I found it very disappointing. Food mediocre and expensive! Latte 4.75 you can expect a perfect latte but this one was very lukewarm normally I will send it back but I didn't have the energy for that now!
