I tried to make reservations at 9:02 when they opened for the year to take reservations and I reserved 23 people . At 9:07 when I clicked enter they were sold out for Friday and Saturday. We have been going for 16 years but this new reservation policy will end my patronizing of Mike's Farm. I had to contact 23 family members who wanted to go and now I guess I can call and tell them the sad news that mikes farm has gotten too big for their britches and don't really care for long time patronage. Good bye Mike's Farm.

We came here often. The last couple times had just gone downhill. We tried again today and it was worse: Service was REALLY slow. Food was awful. Chicken looked like pigeon wings and were tough. I thought well it’s the first serving so maybe that’s why. Nope second plate of chicken came out and it was the same.

We vacation from New York and stayed in North Topsail. Looked to see was in the area and saw Mike's was on our way to Jacksonville, NC. What a gem of a find. We didnt pay attention to when the restaurant t open at 4pm but our unplan worked out. Got there at 2pm to leisurely shop in the gift shop and so many treats to purchase. With a wine slushie in hand sat in the rocking chairs, in the shade, on the porch. Then they came for the restaurant, the cars pulled up and when we took the first bite we understood. The food was beyond declious. Buffet style bought to your table. My four sisters and I ate like Queens, we ate, exhale, breathe then ate. You take no food with you. I highly, highly recommend Mike's. If you are in the area it is a must stop. If you are not in the area, plan a trip.

Food was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Service was superb. Must go back!
