Jū Jiǔ Wū ちょっくん - Onoda

I had a wonderful experience at this izakaya run by Tooru. The host is hilarious and will continuously pour you sake, beers, or homemade plum wine while preparing various snacks for you, even if you didn't order them. It's similar to a Spanish tapas bar. Don't worry if you're the only one there at first, as you'll meet plenty of fun people throughout the evening. It's great value for the price. Tooru and his friends speak a bit of English, so you can easily communicate with them even if you don't speak Japanese.

The atmosphere and vibe at this restaurant is authentic. The owner's personality is fantastic and complements the delicious food, excellent service, and great drinks. I highly recommend stopping by if you're passing through the area. I will definitely be back!
