A omaha gem. this is really a food business (no credit cards on the way that served some of the best Mexican food from the deli in the back. their chips are made fresh and still warm in the pocket. her salsa is so fresh and good that they might just want to drink it. the tamales are great, packed in mais dishes and all. immerse them in salsa. carnitas, check fresh tortillas, check all kinds of Mexican food products also, check
The car worth. that is not a restaurant, it is a food business. there is a Deli-style counter in the back. they have the best salsa in the city. it is fresh, homemade and just perfect. ask for the medium, it tastes delicious. they also make their own chips and pack them. while you're here, take a few fools. the best tamale I ever had, and I had them in tx and mexiko, and they are just an ass. they only accept cash, but have a breath in the load.
The journey worth it. we buy 4 to 6 bags of their chips. sometimes the bags are still warm. my son buys 2 to 4 quarters of her spicy hot sauce. I also like the hot pulled boar, the rice and the roasted whole bun. people who work there are always very friendly.
Jacobo's offers a cheap, fun lunch, and on some days you might burn enough calories standing in line to justify stuffing yourself.
