Coolgreens Avondale Dr - Oklahoma City

'Cheerful' is one of the adjectives I would choose to describe Coolgreens thanks to its great salads and attractive attitude. We had lunch twice in June this year, and if we ever go through Oklahoma City again, we want to go back. My partner enjoyed a lot of his own salad (they put the salad greens and toppings for you, but you get to pick them up, and there are many to choose) and a piece of pizza. I had the Tree Hugger Salad, the baby spinach, marinated tofu, edamame, picked onion, mandarin oranges, cran mushrooms and pumpkin seeds, and was mixed with a wonderful tomato/orange/bassilia vinaigrette. Such a fantastic combination! The marinated Tofu was so good, I had to share a bite with my partner who liked it as much as I did. The beautiful surroundings added to our enjoyment of fresh, nutritious food. Coolgreens is almost circular, with glass walls completely enclose the entire inner dining area. This creates a very pleasant, airy feeling and offers a beautiful view of the trees, grass and passers-by outside. The coolgreens staff was friendly and efficient and even thanked us for coming! Wow! Very impressive!

I had the tree-hugger salad as a wrap and it was delicious! My husband had a hummus pizza without feta cheese, which was also delicious. Although not completely vegetarian, I would still recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant Coolgreens can be described as cheerful, thanks to its great salads and attractive environment. My partner and I visited twice this June for lunch, and if we are ever in Oklahoma City again, we would love to return. My partner enjoyed a self-made salad with toppings of his choice and a piece of pizza. I opted for the Tree Hugger salad, which had baby spinach, marinated tofu, edamame, spiced quinoa, mandarin oranges, cranberries, mushrooms, and pumpkin seeds, all topped with a delicious tomato-orange-basil vinaigrette. The marinated tofu was especially delicious, so much so that I had to share a bite with my partner, who also loved it. The pleasant atmosphere at Coolgreens added to our enjoyment of the fresh and nutritious meal.
