Slackwater Pub Pizzeria - Ogden

Slackwater was recommended for dinner by our hotel staff, but the line was longer than we were ready to wait after we traveled all day. So, we tried again for Brunch/Lunch the next day and it was excellent. I had the eggs Benedict and they were perfect. Others in my group had pizza and nachos. All were good. The service was a little slow, but they were muddled, so it was clear that our server did the best it was about how busy it was. An additional bonus was that there was also a good live musician. She played small key things so that it didn't pass the place. I would definitely return to Slackwater if ever again in the Ogden region.

The pizza was incredible, sauce was great, crust was airy and had a lot of flavor. The peach special wings were decent, but the wings themselves were tiny and not a whole lot of meat on the bone. The peach salad wasn?t anything special in my opinion. Service was ok nothing to rave about.

Wasn 't sure how many stars to rate Slackwater as husband seemed okay with his pizza. When I saw that my match for this place was 67%...well, that cinched the 3 stars. The alcoholic beverage menu is a book so if you like a huge selection of that, then this may be your place. Is that the popularity? However: See our pizza photo? Doesn 't look like other photos posted not even like one photo of the exact same pizza we ordered. Very thin crust. Amount of meat skimpy. And the cheese? Nonexistent. These are personal pan pizza sized too as husband could eat the whole thing by himself. Lady 's meatball sandwich, at another table, looked huge and she seemed to be enjoying it. A lot of people were dining on this Friday afternoon so other people appear to like it. As for me, it 's Ogden Pizzeria for pizza; if you don 't like theirs, you 'll probably like this.

This was our first visit to the new Slackwater location on 24th St. This place is so awesome! What a massive improvement! (and things were great over by the river). ? My wife and I were impressed on so many levels: overall dining experience was EXCELLENT! Went to the bar because the place was just so crowded, but it was a great experience with wonderful, friendly service, awesome beer selection ? truly great place to visit if you want local craft brew really great food.? Try a Calzone?: The Italian Job was just delicious??Awesome presentation and so flavorful! ?? Kudos for having EV parking and access at the front!?Impressive ??

Very good pizza! I love the different choices of pizza available here. Great atmosphere. Had a nice Sunday family dinner. Our service was excellent. There is a fun area to hang out out front with fire pits. If you don't want pizza they have sandwiches and other choices that are really good as well. Give this place a go!
