Texas Burger - Odessa

Very good burger, but not the best. I was a bit sticker shocked $9.50 for a combo meal) for what appeared to be a fast food joint, but the food is very good and a step or two above fast food. It was worth it.

Still great. I grew up in Odessa, I recently went to visit family, and we were driving down Andrews and suddenly I saw the Texas Burger sign and my mouth began to water.<br/ <br/ It still is great, Way better than the other nationwide burger joints around.<br/ <br/ I ordered a double meat double cheese and it was as good as I remembered.<br/ <br/ There are people that compare this to Whataburger, there is no comparison, whataburgers burgers for me have way to much bread and its very 'doughy ' so all you taste is the bread and the load of iceburg lettuce. Here the meat is very flavorful and the veggies and bread do not overpower the meat and cheese.<br/ <br/ Also the onion rings are awesome, the fries great.<br/ <br/ Love this place. wish Bobby Cox would open them in more places

This is a classic burger fast food joint. They have been in business for a very long time, and it shows. The dining room was very well cleaned and stocked up. I ordered the classic Texas cheeseburger with fries. The burger was freshly cooked and the fries were hot and fresh. The burger was topped with their classic cherry tomato. The prices are very reasonable and I feel like I received a good value for my money. Upon leaving there is an ice cream service area to try if your still hungry. You can get a shake or just a scoop of ice cream to top you off. Will definately be back.

Amazing how big their large onions rings are other foods here. They put a jalapeño in the burgers though, on the side. You have to let them know not to put one, but otherwise, it's all big, good, and delicious!
