Down South Sammies - Oconomowoc

Awesome chicken sandwiches. I have tried the Nashville hot fancy and the southern fried classic....both crisp and tasty!

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Looked good with over 1000 reviews not great rating but pictures looked good so gave it a try. 5 people more then nice people and not cheap or pinchin pennies and the server was incredibly inconvenienced the whole time, rude, and ignored us for over an hour we couldn't even pay the tab! Food wasnt worth getting that treatment or the price wouldn't come back here!

We were looking for a place in Oconomowoc to grab a quick bite and stumbled on this place. Atmosphere was just our style, casual with some rustic touches. I had the chicken and biscuits with roasted corn and poblano chowder. Both were amazing. They brine and batter their own chicken and you could tell. My husband had the fried onion burger burger and fries. The burger was very flavorful and a generous side. Great selection of beers on tap, all brewed in Wisconsin. Even several variations of boilermakers on the menu. Service was good, but took a little bit to get our food but well worth the wait. Restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived ay 5:15 on a Saturday night. Our only regret, not getting the mac and cheese. Guess we will have to go back!

We are beyond upset that they got rid of the loaded cheese curds on the menu that was by far the best thing. Please bring it back immediately. We need it we need it.

Absolutely amazing never heard or had them before but I loved them.... Especially when it is Happy Hour from 2 5 and they are on the menu!
