The owner’s wife took our order but would not look or speak to me or my three children. She looked over our heads and yelled “next” after each of us ordered. She didn’t give me a total. Took my money and did not give me a receipt. She then began arguing very loudly with one of her employees who then began yelling back. The owner’s wife then walked back to the cash register and continued to yell at the employee in front of customers. There were apx. 15 kids there with grandparents and their parents. It was very scary and intense. She gave me back $5 because she charged me for two ice creams. $5 was less than the amount of the ice cream, let alone after taxes… still no receipt. There have been several instances where the staff have been less than inviting, especially the drive through. This time was just unacceptable. Children should not be exposed to adults yelling at each other.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Dairy Queen while babysitting. We ordered a kids ' meal with a soda and a Butterfinger Blizzard, along with a 3-piece strip meal with a chocolate-dipped cone. When we tried to pick up our ice cream, the gentleman at the counter insisted that wasn 't what I ordered, even though it clearly was. He refused to give it to us, which was frustrating. After cleaning up our table, we went back to the window to try to resolve the issue. The lady with a GA tattoo on her leg was shockingly rude and dismissive. Despite my willingness to pay for the Blizzard and explaining that I wasn 't going to tell the child no, the staff continued to insist we couldn 't have it, making the situation even more uncomfortable. I 've never experienced such poor service in a food establishment. The staff 's rudeness and lack of understanding were completely unacceptable. I hope Dairy Queen addresses this issue, as it left a very negative impression on both myself and the child I was with.
Downvoting from 5 to 1 star. We usually go for onion rings. But, they were burnt in the last couple of visits. Also, we always get stared at by the whole staff!! Please stop staring at people.
Busy drive thru on a Friday night. But the staff was very efficient and we had our blizzard and peanut buster parfait quickly
