Best Western Polisina - Ochsenfurt

The award-winning forest and sport hotel polisina is located directly at the rande of a bird and landscape park! it has 83 rooms and 6 studios that are either modern, or with traditional Franconian charm. the house has a terrace and a garden, a swimming pool and a restaurant! the food offer goes to medium sea to typical Franconian, too vegetarian to sweet!

Franconian Ambience, very nice operation.... the rust roast with roast potatoes was the crisp!

A team of young service staff friendly and competent serves to set up the local who has come into the years. The menu is very interesting and does not make the choice really easy. I shared the appetizers with my colleague: Sauere Zips are a must for me when I'm in the Frankenland. The fillet of Haller Landschwein was a good choice, even the fried cabbage was tasty. The only criticism was the potato mushroom kitten that baked a little too hard and slightly bitter. The dessert the cream broth with lavender was very delicious as the ice cream. Conclusion: Sure. I will visit this restaurant again when I am nearby and therefore recommend it completely.

We had children and even a vegetarian in our party. All only spoke English and no German. The staff went out of their way to give us English menus and to explain the menu. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

As the hotel is far from town there are no alternatives for dinner. The selections were basic fare for this part of the country. The breakfast buffet is nice.
