Bidrage med feedbackVerrrry disappointed. Both of us ordered a bowl of menudo and asked for a pig foot on the side. To our surprise the waitress brings out 2 small size bowls with about 8 ozs. with mostly juice, he got 3 pieces of homoney. I got 2. A few pieces of tripe. The pig foot was IN the same bowl as our menudo which was ONLY bone, no meat at all. And to top it off, it was $13.50 each. When we left, we stopped in Oceano to get something to eat bc we were hungry.Bar tender was nice and cocktails were good.
Service took too long to get our order done. Was very bland not authentic at all. Needed flavor and was very pricey for what you get. Was Cinco de mayo and we asked if they had brunch and the hostess told us no because they had a band but failed to tell us they had tacos out there. Also the food looked fancy but for the most part was just presentation. When they ask you if you want a biscuit with your mexican food you should know better. Hot sauce was just tomatoe sauce. Wouldnt reccomend or come back.
This place is not what most people would think it is. We live three miles away and, at first glance, it might appear like your standard American-Mexican restaurant, where one would find gorgeous mounds of beans and cheese and sour cream and whatnot. This is not this place at all.Whoever is creating the menu and making the food here is top notch and knows what they're doing. It's a semi-fine-dining restaurant in disguise as your local Mexican joint. For example, they have tacos and flautas with calabasa, and the salsa with them is riduclously tasty. I ordered their Mexican Pizza for the first time yesterday, and it was piled high with peppers, mushrooms, kernal corn, well-made shredded beef, along with the usual accompaniments. They have the traditional Mexican dishes as well, but they aren't greasy or thrown together; it's all made with care and class...even if it's to go. They have hipster-like margaritas in all sorts of flavors, cocktails to boot, and the bartenders are on it. And the best part? They don't skimp. It is reasonably priced and you get lots of bang for your buck.Simply put, it's quite good.
Consistently good Mexican food good margaritas. Nice menu variety with Vegetarian options. The mole enchiladas is one of our favorites, they have good salsa chips as well. The service has always been good even out on the patio. It can be busy during lunch dinner hours, but it's better midweek. Outside patio seating available with space heaters. We just visited 3 weeks ago. New Menu new prices, much higher than expected. The food is still good but the burrito special is now $21 dollars.
Had a large group, 17. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive , for was very good, 4 stars, not 5. Ordered fish tacos, very good, tamale, was just ok, enchiladas, just ok.
