Bidrage med feedbackWe purchased a half bushel of crabs from this restaurant. Most of them were excellent, but unfortunately, 12 of them were mealy on the inside and we were unable to eat them. I contacted the restaurant a few days later and they were very accommodating in resolving the issue. They replaced the 12 crabs we couldn't eat and they were also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!
This restaurant is a hidden gem located next to a Seven Eleven. Despite its small size, the prices are reasonable and the seafood is top-notch. We shared a seafood platter featuring a variety of items including fried fish, crab cake, fried shrimp, and coleslaw. The crab cake was especially tasty with very little filler. There are a few outdoor tables available and you can grab a drink from the Seven Eleven next door since the restaurant doesn't serve beverages. Overall, this was a great discovery!
Large and fresh shrimp. As well as fresh crabs for a better market price than others in the area. Positive experience with staff as well.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. The steamed shrimp are a generous size and very tasty. The soups, fries, crabcake sandwich, coleslaw, and chicken tenders are all fantastic. The crab deviled eggs are also worth trying.
My grand daughter and I traveled to Ocean City for the long weekend. We googled Rippons after seeing a sign and based on reviews decided to have dinner there our first full day in OC. After inquiring about the 'fish and chips ' basket, we were told the fish was 'Hake ', I actually grew up eating Hake in Baltimore (many years ago), it was a Friday staple and I 've always loved the taste of the fish. After living and traveling to many places in the US and not being able to find Hake fish, whenever I would go back to Baltimore I would always intentionally make a stop somewhere to purchase. I was SO happy to find out Rippons actually had the fish. We enjoyed it SO much we went back and had lunch on the day we were leaving OC. Thanks for taking me down memory lane Rippons!
