A Taste Of Denmark - Oakland

The cake was beautifully decorated for a celebration of life gathering. We made it the center piece of the gathering surrounded by photos. They also delivered it which was so convenient. The cake itself was a bit dry but as a center piece it looked amazing.

Picked up a package of baked goods from them. some were moldy. wouldn't go back. not cool to serve moldy food.

I did a delivery order thru Grubhub. First of all one of the items was, out of stock, no problem but then when I received the order another item was missing and a substitution was made without permission. Now to the Quality (or lack there of} the so called Morning Bun looked like nothing I'd ever seen and the taste and texture was so bad I through it away. I also ordered Lemon Bars a simple recipe, again poor taste and texture through them out. I've shopped at the Taste Of Denmark for awhile but the Quality has really gone way down. I can not recommend or will I shop there again. Dissatisfied , Disappointed Customer Michael Day

I've been coming here since I was a kid when it was Neldam's Bakery. It's always been a place where you can buy quality baked goods. My favorite is a Chantilly cake aka Dream Cake). It's a light whipped cream cake with chocolate flakes all over! Yum.

This bakery has been here for over 60 years. Same great experience and pastries. It's so much to choose from, I can't pick a favorite.
