Pelican Seafood - Oak Island

Absolutely loved the dining experience. Great food. For dessert, I highly recommend the coconut cake w/the key lime filling. O, man. You have to taste it to believe it. Great atmosphere.

Our server Katie rocks, great setting. All of the hush puppies, fresh soup(New England clam chowder) to filled shrimps with crab meat were the absolutely best. The rib eye of my wife was cooked as desired (medium), grilled zucchini just right, undoubtedly one of the best meals we ever had.... Generous portions, excellent presentation, along with an owner and staff who are really proud to feel welcome and appreciated!! Keep the big work, see soon!!!!

Delicious! So far this is the best seafood we found on this island. The roasted cheese ravioli was great! The crab cake is the best I ever had! They wouldn't make my chips folly what was a bummer, and I don't see what was the big deal with it. The hush puppies are big and so delicious! Great sweet tea and good ranch (which is hard to find). I highly recommend it. There is a completely different menu for dinner, but we came to lunch. And the staff is so nice and friendly! Def check stop here for a good meal.

I have to try Swains! FRESH local fish seafood. Delicious homemade Hush puppies with blackberry pepper diving sauce (only enough kick! . Homey, beach fack atmosphere. A bit expensive, but if you want fresh locals and want to support a family business, Swain's is the place in Oak Island! Service was also friendly, efficient and pressureless. I have the chance to relax, enjoy and catch up with an old family friend.

The Blackberry Jelly is to die, we also loved the potato chips with the good ranch. The flounder was excellent as my shrimps with garlic butter. This is really more of an adult restaurant, small room and no children's menu, but they were very accommodating for our children and they also enjoyed their meals. The service was good and punctual. Reserve for dinner!
