If you ever in Oak Island this place is a must if you love grill!!! My family loved this place! Every time we go, we have to eat here and even bring barbecue home. Delicious! By covid19 we could not go into this time and eat what is completely understandable now!

During my first visit to the BBQ House last November I ordered a brisket sandwich and enjoyed it during the return trip to Greensboro. I was lucky to return to the Oak Island area and my friend ordered to take it out. I have the brisket and this is the best brisket I've ever had! My pages were greens and Mac cheeses that were also great. The sauce was excellent. I have a left pane, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

The food was excellent, service was good, price was fair. The sandwiches had less meat on them than some competitors who may not be a bad thing, depending on how much you like to eat. The sides were plentiful. We were pulled pork and brisket, would also recommend. The Mac-n-Cheese was perhaps the best I ever had. The lush puppies were crispy and delicious!

My family and i go to oak island every year for a family vacation. Due to the recent hurricane, we had to move our vacation to another beach (which we like but we were really looking forward to OKI and the Bar-B-Que House). We drove 40 minutes from another beach to get takeout at what was our favorite restaurant and while the food was delicious, we had some issues. Upon asking for their staple honey butter with our order, we were brushed off and told it was “already in the bag”. Which, after another 40 minutes back to our vacation spot we discovered was missing. My brother also ordered a $5 salad and was given not even half the small to-go containers worth. The food was still good but we were surprisingly disappointed with the service today which is why they lost a star.
