Mon Ami Gabi - OAK BROOK

Last night of Mon Ami Gabi Oakbrook was poignant and wonderful! The service was excellent as always and the food was great. All servers, busboys and management coordinated the dance that Mon Ami has perfected for many years. Instead of tearing farewells, we exchanged compliments about food and service and promised to see people again at their next job. What a shame Oakbrook Mall has this unique restaurant not enough prices to know that we want the unique creations like Mon Ami as a heavenly escape from today! Menu Favourites are the delicious French onion soup, salmon with celery root and beurre blanc, chicken grandson roasted with garlic and onions, steak classique with the best fries, crème brulée and chocolate mousse! Bruce has an unforgettable collection of sauces and aromas that we enjoyed on birthdays, anniversaries and many special occasions. Servers like Steve, Debbie, Dawn. Tom and others were conscientious and gracious, and we always felt welcome in this little piece of heaven. Mon Ami was more like Mon Ciel. We will always remember!

Have long been a visit for family and special occasions. We miss it!

So sad that this place is closed. We've been dimming there since they opened up and the staff and food will miss so much.

Wonderful experience to finish off their run. Sad to see them go.
