Crazy Nate's Woehrder Wiese - Nuernberg

I’m so glad we went here for dinner while visiting Nuremberg. Crazy Nates is the best burrito I’ve had while living in Germany. I felt like I was back home for a little bit. Their burritos and quesadillas are simple, but absolutely perfect. Their hot sauces were actually spicy. The margaritas were incredible without being too sweet. I cannot stress enough how amazing everything was!

I have no qualms about saying this is possibly the best Mexican spot in Germany. Being from San Diego CA, I've had a lot of good Mexican in San Diego and all over Mexico. The tacos are the closest to Mexican I've had with he small corn tortillas and the burritos have the taste and feel of southern California. On top of that the owner is a cool dude. We came back then next night after visiting and we'll be driving back 100% from Stuttgart regularly even with the 2hr drive.

My friends and I have been going to Nates since the beginning. It 's our go to, almost a hang out. The people working there have always been A+ Class and I have never had a bad experience. Only Nate really knows me, but last time my gf (who 's only been to Nates twice she 's from outta town) remarked at how nice the guy who took our order was. I am always 100% satisfied with my San Francisco Mission Style burrito which is why I have ordered it about 1000 times now. I love the style of both locations although OG Nates remains OG Nates. Food, service, feeling A+. And on top of that, the trivia nights, the music, the margaritas, old wrestling on TV, when Nate would make especially hot salsa that you had to ask for. You know that scene in How I Met Your Mother in the pub where Marshall is like You know what happened in this booth? and then he 's like Just a lot of stuff. Man, that 's like how I feel about Nates. No other restaurant in Nbg comes close.
