The Granby Inn - Northumberland

We were staying locally and needed a place for tea. Wow what a surprise this place was! Easy to book online, welcomed by lovely staff. Lots of choice for adults and kids. We all said how fantastic the food was. Lots of flavour and great value for money. Even my picky 5 year old said hers was delicious. Would love to return if we’re in the area again.

Our visit was an end of holiday treat. From the moment we walked in until we left we enjoyed friendly, efficient service nothing was too much trouble. The menu was fairly extensive and tempting. We chose the fish and chips meal which was excellent just the right amount, leaving enough room for a dessert : We would certainly eat here again.

Went here on Wednesday 5th of June for celebration meal , after looking at the extensive menu decided to go for the two meals and the house wine for £60 . Starters all nice and of a good size soup of the day , white bait and potato skins. Onto the mains two scampi, two chicken dishes, again good portions and absolutely delicious, Followed up by two sweets and two liquors coffee. And a surprise sweet for the wife and I Served in nice surroundings by nice staff. Excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was incredible, my husband had the neck of lamb and words can not describe how tender, juicy and tasty it was! The staff are superb, friendly and helpful (thanks Will!

A lovely 3 night stay at The Granby Inn. Our room Rm 5) was lovely spacious, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. Good quality produce, all freshly cooked prepared to order. We ate 2 nights in the hotel. The food was great lovely menu, good choice. Freshly cooked food, piping hot. Really good food. All the staff have been friendly and welcoming it’s been a great stay. Thank you.
