Little Havana - North Miami

Have been there several times now. Originally at the recommendation of a friend. I always get the Mariquitas appetizer and roast pork with rice and beans and plantains. I judge Cuban restaurants by their roast pork and it is always good here. They always put a piece of crispy pork skin on the plate which I love. Any dish that my friends have is always good. The service sometimes is not the best but the food makes up for it. The prices are good for what you get.

Since our favorite family owned Cuban restaurant closed, this was our first time there. I always rate Cuban restaurants by their roast pork. Mine was just right and even included a small piece of pork skin which I love. My wife had the days special Paella which was also excellent. We also had mariquitas with the garlic sauce. Very good. The server was always checking on us. More food than we could so we are good for tomorrows lunch. We will be back.

Little Havana offers classic Cuban cuisine in a no frills, comfortable atmosphere. The steak was excellent and a large, large portion. Desserts were average. Service was good, but could be a little friendlier.

I really like this restaurant. I've gone there a number of times, had a number of different dishes and their food is always good and not too expensive.

I eat at Little Havana every Sunday. The food is delicious and I love it!! I recommend the Little Havana steak!!
