The Green Mesquite Bbq - North Browning

The most bland, dry, and disappointing BBQ I've ever had the displeasure of trying. The service was decent, although slow for being the only table sitting in at noon on a weekend. Will not be returning.

I had to drown my brisket in BBQ sauce because it tasted bland. Chicken was too salty and didn't taste like it was smoked. This was an online order and I shouldve specified that I wanted leg and thigh chicken instead of breast and wing. I haven't tried the sides yet because they didn't give me any utensils or napkins with my pickup order. Doesn't matter anyways because I won't be returning to this location. Potato salad and pinto beans was gross

I have eaten here 3 times in the past 6 months. The first visit was on a slow day, and the BBQ was old, cold, dry, and tough. I gave it a second try, thinking I went on a bad day the first time. SAME experience. I went a 3rd time hoping to catch them on a good day. Wrong... 3 Strikes. The Server delivered the food to the wrong table, there was only one other customer in the place, so we swapped plates. I had the 3 meat plate. Small dry tough brisket, OK ribs (2) and chicken. The chicken and side of scalloped potato's was good, but that is all I can say positively. For the price, the quality and portion is not worth it. There are many better places to go. If I could give this place no stars I would. Don't waste your money or time going to this place. We ordered pulled pork, sausage, brisket moist and ribs. ALL were dry!!! The sides tasted like frozen food and the sauce was watered down. Could not even eat what we ordered, it was that bad. Even though Green Mesquite has been around for a long time they don't seem to keep up with the times. The owners should visit other BBQ places to see what real BBQ taste like.

Pulled pork sandwich had no flavor. Tasted like it was oven baked. BBQue brisket sandwich was a little better. Had to drown both sandwiches with sauce. Save your money. Parking: Lots of parking
