Cafe des Fleurs Du Malt - Nîmes

Stopped here for lunch. Across the street from the train station. I had a great bacon burger (note to Americans: order it well done to get what we would call a medium-rare! and my wife had very good fish chips. Our server was an...absolute delight and efficient. I am glad we stopped here.

Nice enough to eat, good service pleasant staff. toilets a bit dingy! right at the train station if they have time to wait, not a bad place.

We stopped for breakfast and ordered their formula. Looks good at 5,90 €. But no croissant or pastries, only bread. Service was extremely slow and the waitress was rude. Avoid a tourist trap! You need to understand what good customer service is. It's the first time we've met this in Nimes

Just across the street from the station, this is a great place to have a good price breakfast set (sweetened juice, coffee, croissant, and bread/butter/jam). Sit outside and enjoy watching people come and go!

We came to Nimes by train and went to dinner. That was the first restaurant we met. We were immediately addressed by a waiter who has not spoken a single word English (yes I know we are in France, but some English skills are expected anyway). We have a table and then she was sitting on a table for a while talking to some other guests. After we got the menu, we got a fast French menu guide. Since we do not speak French, we had some language problems, of course, but we ordered our food. The food came to our table within reasonable time, at least for three of us. Another waiter then asked what the last person should have. Then we had to order dinner for the fourth person again. When we finished, the last dinner came to our table. The food was good!
