Bidrage med feedbackI’ll start by saying that some of the reviews here are complete BS. They serve the best coffee in the North East. Hands down. I’ve been going to Harvest for my coffee for a few years and I actively go out of my way to visit. They’ve turned me (in a good way) into a bit of a coffee snob. I just can’t find the depth or complexity of flavour anywhere else. If you’re looking for sugar laden coffee milkshakes, this isn’t Costa so you won’t find them. It’s not the cheapest but you’re paying for quality so that’s a good thing. I’d rather have one cup from OCC than 3 from Greggs. It’s clear the owners strive for quality and run their business ethically. I enjoy the coffee, the service is good and, if you ask, they’re extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. They’re a super local business and I’ll continue to give them my custom for as long as they keep serving brilliant coffee.
Absolutely amazing tasting coffee BUT at £3.20 a cup and I use the word cup lightly its more like a quarter of a cup that you find yourself shaking to check that there's anything actually in it makes it very expensive. If you get a cappuccino here your cup is basically empty. At 50p a sip its amazing tasting but I wish it was an actual cup of coffee. The shop is freezing cold for the entire winter thus making me sit in the car instead too, if you want somewhere for friends work to sit and chat bring a hat and scarf.. seriously
Its seems confusing to me to have a coffee shop at the heart of the student hub of Jesmond and not want students to come and spend their money. The atmosphere was so unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. Staff asked us to move tables even though the whole place was empty and we were the only ones there. No wifi. It seems a shame that with so many beautiful coffee shops to chose from in Jesmond this one would rather be empty. I will not be returning nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. Alienating the majority of the population of Jesmond who are students and would otherwise a lucrative market of loyal customers is baffling.
No syrups for coffee and coffee itself not nice. Food bland and kinda gross, no sauces no seasonings and so overpriced. Don’t recommend
I absolutely love the coffee here! I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I'd say it's probably the best coffee in Newcastle. However it loses one star for price, £3 for a flat white is a little steep, the cup is tiny! I get that flat whites are generally smaller but this was like literally 4 gulps and it was gone. Bigger coffee portions or slightly cheaper prices please! I don't really mind paying it when the coffee is this nice though.
