Dolce Freddo Gelato - Newburyport

I recently visited this place and while the ice cream was delicious, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the weather being a mild 23°C, the ice cream was already melting by the time it was served. When we asked about it, the staff simply said it was because of the hot weather, which didn’t make sense. Additionally, none of the staff seemed happy with their jobs and didn't smile at all. A great product should come with great service, and unfortunately, this shop fell short.

This is great Gelato. I'm a pistachio man. However, I highly recommend the salted caramel heath bar.

The best ice cream in the area 100%. Great area as well with plenty of seating available nearby. I would give 6 stars if I could

Friendly service. Large selection. The mint chip gelato tastes good and doesn't leave you feeling like you overate! Sugar or waffle cone is included in the price. There is limited space for dining in. You will have to stand, which is better than standing in the rain . Update: May 2024; Orange Chocolate Chip Gelato did hit the spot! I recommend a visit!

ZERO stars for you. Hours posted as open Sunday until 9:30 PM. Stopped by at 5:30... closed. If your closed for the season, or closing early for ANY damn reason... update your website. Glad I didn't drive the 1.5 hour trip into MA just for your shop.
