Very good hotel, especially the bar and restaurant are exceptional because the large cook and great staff are served them. eating is of great quality, suitable for adults and children. fresh fish, tasty steak or ceviche, everything came past the menu. the menu changes to daily bases and you can basically select what you want from the menu. we took half board option and this is recommended definitiw. even full board would be a good option as eating is so good and tasty quality. our newborn was very well treated. also the other staff are very friendly and helpful. the rooms are good and the veranda is great to hang up during the occasional rain. the furniture is no longer the best, matratze is quite stiff, that could be more comfortable with softer objects. the beds are well covered with clamboos to protect them from mosquitoes and each evening during their dinner the staff will spray the room with deet. good service! the free bikes are very pleasant. the tours that you can book in the hotel are overcrowded to the locals on the beach or other places, but it depends on the rest they want. the immediate environment is safe to walk or to travel with the bike, the only risky part to go is the main road through the traffic. but all people are friendly and welcoming, in the villages or along the road, zanzibar is very welcoming.

Great place, location, accommodation and food. Friendly staff. Great beach with amazing white sand. Sunrise is breathtaking. The blue variation of the ocean is not to be described. Beach is endless. Less hotel/resorts than other places in Zanzibar, so fewer tourists. More real experience. Local people are kind, happy and ready to help. Near Mnemba Island, you have to go on a trip.

Great view, friendly staff and good service. The food was very good, though a bit expensive. The bungalows are good for couples! Just note that the hotel is environmentally friendly and in this case it means that the rooms do not have air conditioning. Not a deal breaker with all the wind from the ocean, but only FYI.

I loved this place, quiet, beautiful, peaceful and all the staff were so beautiful, friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. some critiken complained about the lack of ac, but I found the two fans worked well. it added to the rustic feeling. positiw beautiful and quiet location, staff so beautiful in any sight, amazing breakfast, the beach at the hotel was so quiet and untouched. room was nice and cleaned daily and also had an evening turndown service where they prepare their mosquito net.) they can rent kajaks and bikes. in preparation to stay here, the employees were really reacting and quick to answer questions. cons i stepped on a dead cockroache in my room: . the personal solved it really fast and bugs are expected in this type of location, but I found cockroaches in my room every day, which was a little scary. also the vegetarian options were a bit bland and lack of taste. I found eating a tad expensive and with taking the breakfast the small portions were. not a conus, but there is not much to explore in the opposite, so if they want to pay for trips out, this is a place for a relaxed, lowkey vacation.

Staff was super friendly and helpful all the time we spent there. Beach was ok. Tide effects the beach on this coast. Rooms were clean and tidy. You better rent a car if you don't want to stay in the hotel during the whole vacation.
