Bidrage med feedbackFood has just the right taste, great deal for nyc. Chimichangas are nice sized. The staff was friendly as can be. Overall, a hidden gem,
By far the best quesadillas I have ever had! Regardless of what you want (Taco, Burrito, Quesadilla), they have a vegetarian option available which was delicious! It took us a while to figure out what we wanted, but it was definitely worth the effort. ?You can decide exactly which ingredients you want as you go along and get to pick the kind of salsa you prefer. The staff was really helpful (and patient while we were making up our minds). We stayed to eat and it is a more rustic place, I was impressed by the amount of seating they had for a place on 8th close to Times Square. We will definitely come back a second time while we're here and that's saying something considering the sheer variety of places to choose from ?Vegetarian options: Tasty vegetarian filling available!
Great counter service Mexican restaurant. Nachos, burritos, tacos, etc. Carne asada was fantastic and the nachos were LOADED! Don't worry, they have beer in the fridge. Super good.
The 3 chicken tacos were good. Didn't want to spend the $2.95 for guacamole but otherwise the other toppings made up for no avocado. The chicken enchiladas had a salsa Verde which was too spicy to eat and my partner ended throwing away the whole entree. The quesadillas were good as well.Food: 4/5
The food is low-quality and inauthentic. I ordered assorted tacos on blue corn tortillas. They came topped with lettuce and cheddar cheese, and both the carnitas and the shredded chicken were straight up soupy. The tortillas were dry and brittle. Two stars because the asada (the meat itself) was indeed very tasty. Not sure where the “very authentic, better than chipotle” reviews are coming from: even less authentic, worse ingredients
