Gallo Nero III - New York

Perfect! We make a reservation and we been on time! We had a warm welcome by the waiter! The food was phenomenal, service top notch! Highly recommended for family!

This is a decent neighborhood restaurant. Food is good, but so so ambience.

I came here for brunch with friends. The service was great- very attentive staff. I got a great Pulsd deal- brunch for two people with unlimited drinks for 1.5 hours. I was very happy with my food. I got the steak and eggs, which was delicious. My only complaint was that the restaurant was absurdly loud. I had to ask the waiter to turn down the music twice. He finally did so the second time. However, it did not need to be that loud in the first place. I couldn't hear any of my friends when we first got there. Other than that, the experience was great. Just please keep the music down! I don't mean to be an old lady but people still want to talk to each other during their meal, it's not the club.

Gallo Nero is not what it used to be when it was a few blocks north on Seventh Avenue. Had been there several times because the food was very good, service excellent and the space inviting. The new location further down on Seventh Avenue leaves a lot to be desired. Meatballs were very heavy, caesar salad not very good, tortellini with marinara sauce too rich and not tasty and the spaghetti carbonara was good, but nothing special. Wait staff is rushing so much that when I ordered spaghetti carbonara, he brought me spaghetti marinara and then I had to wait while my date was eating their entree. Don't bother with this restaurant...there are so many better Italian restaurants in NYC.

I'm happy which I made a reservation in there! It was Thursday night after snow storm day The food and the service was excellent Happy hour was a going on in that time! I recommend this place
