Bidrage med feedbackWe often come here for some udon soup which my son says taste "sooo good!." We've also tried their sushi, tempura and chicken teriyaki don. The service is always friendly and efficient. The food is always freshly made. They even have bubble tea - what a treat!
We stopped here while shopping at the outlet in New Westminster and I have to say it was not the best. The prices were a little high compared to other sushi places in and around Vancouver and for the quality and variety it is down right expensive and not really worth it. The rolls we had were just OK. The gyoza was not very good either. If you have your heart set on sushi and don't feel like driving to something better then this would be your best choice otherwise I would pass on this place.
Tora Sushi was nice, although not my favourite. I rate it as an average sushi place because of taste, quantity and friendliness. I wished it had better flavour, a little more quantity and the staff were more friendly. The pricing was fair and overall the quality was good. The restaurant is clean and modern. An OK sushi place in a shopping area of outlet stores.
Shopping at Lowe's in Queensborough right around lunch and dreaded having to eat in one of the franchise spots that surround it - when - we spotted Tora Sushi tucked behind the Starbucks and decided to give it a shot. What a great surprise! We had the teriyaki bento box and the sushi bento box. Both were very good: the tempura was done with a perfect light touch, sushi, tempura, all very tasty. We were pleased to have found Tora Sushi and we'll be back. I found the price was fair given the quality of the food. The service was prompt and friendly.
I came today after not coming here a few months, since the food was ok type of food they see most almost food mall type of restaurant and nothing really changed in the type of food they want to some...restaurants if they are hungry on Japanese food and they are here, then they can try it, but if they want real Japanese type of food, then I would recommend eating elsewhere.
