Bidrage med feedbackThe place looks ok, could use a remodel, the bathrooms are smelly and absolutely need a remodel. There is a full bar here. The service was great!!! We ordered our food, we ordered a large guacamole and it was this tiny little 3 small scoop plate, not even close to a large, my wife ordered a combo and it showed up with a live, moving cockroach on her rice!!! My wife screamed!!! The waitress came running over and couldn't stop apologizing!!! I ordered the parillada, which looked really good. The menu looked good which is what brought us here but a cockroach on our food is a huge, Never Again!!! I usually will give something another try but not in this case, a cockroach does not gain a return visit!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered Enchiladas en Mole and the mole sauce was incredible- no canned stuff here! They cooked it right, too (not simply pouring the sauce on After the enchiladas are cooked) Service was great and I enjoyed the environment
I feel sick. I ate there for the first time less than two hours ago and wished I didn?t. I wished I had listened to my gut instinct when I walked in. How has this restaurant been open for 15 years? It looked and smelled dirty and everything felt greasy. The bathroom stunk like a port-a-potty which made me nauseous. The young waitress was paying more attention to her child that was following her around than to the few patrons that were there. The chips were cold and stale, my order was wrong and my food was just okay. Nothing to write home about. But bad enough for me to write this review to say I would stay away from this place if I were you. Hopefully I will survive this day.
This was my first time going to the restaurant and I had no idea it was located in a plaza, which gave me hesitations, but once you walk in, all my worries went away. Traditional Mexican music was playing, and there is traditional artsy booths, and decor. The food was exquisite. Definitely authentic, flavorful, and very filling. I ordered the tamarindo Margarita and let?s just say that it was gone very quickly! If you are in the area and in the mood for homey, authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I was very impressed.
Great, authentic Mexican food! I had the Plato Mexicano. Every bite was delicious. The service was great, even though it's Cinco de Mayo and the place is packed. Several reviewers complained about price, but I didn't think it was overpriced. Food is expensive right now due to inflation, and workers need to be paid fair wages. I'm happy to pay for delicious food. Reply to the owner: I am new to the area, and I am very happy to have found such an excellent Mexican restaurant. My best friend when I was a kid in California is Mexican, and your food tasted just like the meals that his mother made for us. You serve REAL Mexican food, not TexMex nor Americanized versions of Mexican food.
