La Cocina De Maria - New Roads

OMG!!! The most authentic Mexican place I have eaten. So flavorful. The beef tongue and tripe tacos were delicious. The Mexican Beef Soup OMG.... It's so hearty and homey feeling. Broth was perfect...it was naturally sweeten with the vegetables and thst bone marrow..YUM. The waitress was so nice. She was attentive and helpful. We have kids, and she listened to what they want and helped them. The place isn't huge but they have a good bit of tables and lots of drinks selection. The menu is huge. The sad part is...we live an hour away, so now we have to drive an hour to try more items on their menu Yes...go give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Flavors were on point, especially if you like real Mexican food

Delicious authentic Mexican food. It was served fresh and hot. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved everything we ordered. The tacos and loaded nacho fries were awesome. Best rice and beans I've ever had. The next time we are in New Roads, we will be back. Thank you!

This place was tiny, food was not edible, service was awful. We ended up filling up om chips and salsa and left what we couldnt stomach. I ordered a strawberry Margarita and it's was 99% salt we won't be back

Good Latino carniceria el pastor tacos great good selection cervezas playing Spanish music delightful to eat there owners are hard working Latinos there food represents there culture
